Maccabi Arms LLC is a federally licensed firearms dealer (Type 01 FFL 4-34-035-01-9H-09666) and a Class 3 Special Occupational Taxpayer. This policy explains how orders are processed, how items are delivered, and what is required of you as the buyer. Placing an order means you accept these terms.

ORDER PROCESSING

Orders are reviewed and processed on business days. In-stock items generally ship within one to three business days of payment clearing and, where applicable, receipt of a valid dealer license on file. Items sourced from a distributor ship on the distributor’s schedule; we will keep you informed if that timeline moves.

You will receive tracking information by email once a shipment is created. If an item becomes unavailable after you order it, we will contact you with the options available to you.

FIREARMS

Under federal law, a firearm ordered online is delivered to a Federal Firearms Licensee, and the buyer completes the transfer in person at that licensee. When you buy a firearm from us, you select the licensed dealer nearest to you who will receive it and complete your transfer.

How it works:

1. Place your order and tell us the name and city of your receiving dealer.

2. Send a copy of that dealer’s signed FFL to [email protected], or ask the dealer to send it to us directly. Many dealers keep a license on file with us already.

3. Once we have a valid license on file, your firearm ships to that dealer.

4. Your dealer will contact you when the firearm arrives. You complete ATF Form 4473 and the required background check at their counter, and you pay any transfer fee they charge.

Transfer fees charged by a receiving dealer are set by that dealer and are paid directly to them. The firearm remains our property until it is transferred to you on a completed Form 4473.

Local buyers in Northeast Ohio may complete the transfer with us directly by appointment. If you are having a firearm shipped to us from another dealer or seller, see our FFL Transfer Policy. Select local pickup at checkout and we will schedule you.

SUPPRESSORS AND OTHER NFA ITEMS

Suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, and other National Firearms Act items require ATF approval before delivery. As a Class 3 SOT, we handle the registration and paperwork on our end and we are a Powered By Silencer Shop dealer, which allows you to complete your fingerprints and application electronically.

The sequence is: purchase, paperwork, ATF review, approval, then pickup in person. ATF approval times vary and are outside our control. Your item stays in our custody, registered and secured, until the approved stamp is issued. We notify you the day it clears and schedule your pickup.

AMMUNITION

Ammunition ships by ground service only, in accordance with carrier hazardous materials rules, and requires an adult signature at delivery. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase rifle and shotgun ammunition and at least 21 years of age to purchase handgun ammunition.

Ammunition is shipped to destinations where the buyer is permitted to receive it under applicable state and local law. Several states and municipalities regulate ammunition sales, licensing, and delivery. Placing an order confirms that you are legally eligible to receive the ammunition at the address you provide. Where local law requires delivery to a licensed dealer, we will arrange that and let you know.

OPTICS, PARTS, AND ACCESSORIES

Optics, mounts, magazines, holsters, cleaning equipment, safes, and similar non-firearm items ship directly to the address you provide, subject to any state or local restriction that applies to the specific item.

SHIPPING RATES AND CARRIERS

Rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, destination, and service level. We ship via UPS, FedEx, and USPS where each carrier permits the item. Firearms and ammunition ship by the carrier and service level required for that category.

Signature is required on all firearm and ammunition shipments. Carriers will not release these packages without one.

ADDRESS ACCURACY

Please confirm your shipping address before you submit your order. Addresses can be corrected while an order is still being processed; once a label is created, changes are subject to carrier reroute fees. Packages returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address may be reshipped at the buyer’s expense.

DAMAGE OR LOSS IN TRANSIT

Inspect your shipment when it arrives. If a package arrives damaged, photograph the box and contents before unpacking further and contact us at [email protected] or 216-770-6432 within 48 hours of delivery so we can open a carrier claim on your behalf. Retain all packaging until the claim is resolved.

If tracking shows delivery but the package is not in hand, contact us within 48 hours and we will open a trace with the carrier.

INTERNATIONAL AND RESTRICTED DESTINATIONS

We ship within the United States. Certain products are restricted by state or local law, and product availability at checkout reflects those restrictions where we are able to apply them automatically. You are responsible for knowing and complying with the law that applies where you live. If a restriction prevents us from filling your order, we will contact you and refund the order in full.
